Who Am I?

My name is Chris Harrison. I am a Greenville native, a lifelong committed conservative Republican, and a successful businessman. I am also happily married to my high school sweetheart, Katie, and together we have two kids, Penelope and Duke. Together, we attend Covenant Church.

When I first ran for public office, my goal was to bring conservative values and solution-oriented thinking to Greenville County Council. With a background in County planning and real estate, I felt that I was uniquely qualified to help Greenville tackle the pressing issues our community has been facing for the last several years. In addition to bringing my professional expertise to help create healthy growth, I have also stood firm and pushed for increased transparency between our County government and the community. In today’s world, many Americans do not trust our government- and for good reason- which is why I have pushed for a variety of different measures to make the Council more accessible to the people. And lastly, I ran on and have stood on supporting our first responders by providing them with the best pay, the best training, and the best equipment.

All of the reasons that first motivated me to run, we have achieved results regarding in the 4 years that I have served on Council. But we have more to do. That’s why I am running for re-election. I want to continue to provide results and protect our conservative values on Council.
